The different Causes of yeast infections

Candida albicans may be the primary cause of yeast infection in the majority of ladies. It can be a yeast fungus which exists naturally in most parts on the human body. However, when the body’s pure balance is disrupted, Candida albicans multiplies rapidly creating yeast infections known as candidiasis.

There are many other causes of yeast infections. One with the major factors causing candidiasis is mostly a compromised immune program. Lowered immune method allows the actual yeast fungus to multiply rapidly. This can take place when a person doesn't get adequate rest and rest and yeast infections can also recur due to stress.

Secondly, hormonal changes have also been associated with yeast infections. This can take place in the course of menstruation or pregnancy. Pregnancy and use of birth control pills can also be major causes. In fact, women can experience recurrent yeast infections when they are pregnant.

Candidiasis is not regarded being a sexually transmitted disease but in certain cases it is often transmitted from one partner to another. Usually men can contract yeast infections while having unprotected sex with their partner who is already suffering from yeast infection. The situation can become worse while having sex without enough lubrication.

Use of antibiotics can also be regarded being a major contributor of yeast infections. Prolonged use of antibiotics is likely to result in candidiasis and such kind of infections cannot be prevented. However, you can find many treatment methods and remedies available to cure the disease.

The yeast fungus likes to thrive in sugar rich environments. These kinds of environments are provided in diabetic men and women. They tend to have elevated sugar levels which provide a breeding ground for Candida to multiply extensively and cause yeast infections.

Other factors which can cause yeast infections in women comprise douches, feminine sprays and scented hygiene products. Tight fitting clothing can also be regarded being a cause. They create warm and moist environments for yeast fungus to thrive and multiply.

Preventing yeast infections may be a much better option then curing them. Therefore, it is important for individuals to understand the causes of such infections so that they can avoid them from happening, rather then struggling to get rid belonging to the infection when it has already affected.
