What is the State of My Phone Service

There is an old expression that says, "If it ain't broken, don't fix it".

Just because an expression is old and many individuals use it, does not make it correct.

Even though a system or machine or an idea is operating correctly does not mean it's operating at the most efficient degree.

Lets take a quick look at your telecom system. If you have several systems in place for calls, internet, data transfer and conferencing service then you're running at a high level of inefficiency.

It is true that there will probably be implementation expenses to have an unified program in place but the long term saving will far out weigh the initial expenses.

And you will find much more savings then merely dollars and cents. The saving in time and increased productivity are equally as important.

So do not waste another moment and evaluate your telecom system to help maximize saving in dollars and time.

Should You Scrap Your Telecom System?

For small to medium sized companies the financial savings that may be had from a less expensive telecom system are substantial.

It certainly is nothing new, but a VOIP service can generate financial savings that could be substantial to the bottom line.

If you do any international calling you might be able to reduce the cost of the call to zero dollars. That is correct. You could zero out the entire price of your international calling.

But that is not the only place that savings can come into play. For instance, did you know that you can have totally free video conferencing from many VOIP providers. So instead of having a sales force waste time driving to a meeting you could have video conferencing and save countless hours of lost productivity.

Or imagine if a sales person could do a video conference with a client. Instead of calling on them in person they could double or triple there sales service calls.

Could Your Company Save Any Money

Any company worth its salt works on increasing revenue and reducing expenditures. In several instances this is easier said then carried out.

Many businesses may believe they know where their expenses are but they might be blind to numerous expenditures that could be trimmed fairly easily.

1 area to look at is the expenditures produced by a salesforce that makes road trips to visit clients on a regular bases. Another may be the expense of bringing staff together for meetings and brain storming sessions.

1 easy way to cut these expenses is with video conferencing.

Not only is it extremely simple to get staff together but you'll find that customers are a lot more receptive to video conferencing then you might at initially think.

Everybody likes the amount of time saved and the benefit of video conferencing. Speak to your customers and see what they say. I know you will be pleasantly surprised.

Another area of cost saving is rooting out overcharges.

Everyday we hear about some poor soul being robbed of their life savings by some scammer. These take several forms but the most most common is some form of telephone call fraud.

These people are likely to be called by a boiler room telemarketer and pressured into purchasing something or investing in something that has absolutly no value.

Don't we feel sorry for them when the news report lets us know what has happened.

But individuals aren't the only ones open to becoming scammed. Busineses are just as vulnerable. But when it occurs to a business it is known as a clerical error or some such nonsense.

Did you know that a big number of long distance phone bills are off by lots of money. In fact you will find companies that have as their only service the ability to audit phone bills to find these mistakes.

So don't be surprised if you use 1 of these services and find out you are entitled to a large refund.
