Many girls are afraid of taking the leap and asking a guy out. This might be because they are not sure what to say or it might just be because they are scared of what could happen. It’s not as hard as they may think if they are willing to take the chance.

Why Ask Him Out
There are a ton of girls who are thinking why even ask him out? They may think that because he hasn’t asked them out yet, that he doesn’t really like them. The truth is that guys are just as scared as many girls are. They feel the same fear that goes with taking a chance like this on someone they aren’t even sure really likes them. There are advantages to asking him out instead of waiting for him to ask you out, though.

What are the Advantages?
The first advantage is that the girl gets to be the one to make the first move. This may make the guy really notice them and want to know more. They may be surprised at first, but decide that dating the girl who had the guts to ask him out might be something that they would like.
Another advantage is that the girl will feel more confident with herself because she decided to do what she wanted to do for her life. She may feel as though she can do anything when it comes to dating and be ready to start asking more guys out later on in her life.

What are the Disadvantages?
Of course when a girl or anyone for that matter is asking someone out on a date, they will probably have some disadvantages to what they are doing. One of these is that the guy could say no. This may crush the girl that wanted to date him and took the chance to ask him out, but they should realize that it happens all the time. Many people get turned down for whatever reason when it comes to dating. They should not let it hold them back and decide that it may be time to ask a different person out on a date for a change of pace. They may even score that date.
Another disadvantage is that some guys would rather ask out the girls. This is tradition and they may not like the idea of the girl asking them out. They may decide to turn the girl down for this one reason.

It’s up to the person that is asking the guy out whether or not they feel that it’s right, but it can be a lot of fun if they are willing to try and willing to take the chance.
